Forecast for the Week of Nov 10th~Big changes ahead

This week is a Big Week. So, just know that things are going to be different after these couple of weeks. This week can bring explosively intense energy toward us (and the world, actually) and/or we can use that energy to explode us into a new exciting place of our own choosing – it really will be up to us as to how we use this forceful energy.

Early to mid-week, Mars puts a match to action and passionate upheaval – and then proceeds to blast open any door to change that have really already been in the works since 2012. First, Mars will conjunct Pluto on Monday, November 10th, and then on Wednesday, he sets off the Uranus-Pluto square, once again.

At their worst, Mars-Pluto transits indicate rage, anger, jealousy and even physical violence. This would not be the time to force an issue unless you’re ready for a fight. But with Pluto involved, it also may feel nearly impossible NOT to deal with an issue that’s been simmering just below the surface. Obsessiveness is also on the table with this meeting of energies. No doubt over this week and next there will likely be a lot of heavy-handed action going on.

However, if there is something that’s been hanging fire and that has needed to be done, be proactive and DO IT NOW. Step up this week to any major goals, a career agenda, and/or ambitions. And if a high level of force is truly necessary here, there will be more than necessary! But do choose your battles wisely and don’t waste any ammunition. And again, if you’re not totally, finally, completely sure, don’t burn any bridges. They likely can’t be rebuilt. At least not in the same form.

And should you be on the receiving end of the action, just know the time is long overdue for THINGS TO CHANGE. So, just let go and be done with it.

This intensity has been ramping up over the past few days and will be strong over the entire week into next, and is ignited on Wednesday when Mars squares off with shocking Uranus. Expect sudden, surprising, exciting, or unpredictable event or news. This is an explosive transit that can bring arguments, disagreements and changes that seem to come out of the blue. But a demand is being made now that we change and do things, or some thing, differently. An ending of relationship, personal or business, is possible and even likely, over these few days. So, once again Wednesday will be a day of action and/or reaction. Be original. Step up and shake it up. It’s time.

And also, on Wednesday, November 12th, Venus will meet up with Saturn. This is not a warm and fuzzy energy, but it can add some stability. However, since Venus rules love and money and Saturn restricts and holds accountable, this is a negative transit for the most part – especially for relationships. Added to the other volatile energies of the week, some relationships may come to an end. And there could also be feelings of loneliness or being cut off from others, or love.

Then, on Saturday, November 15th, Neptune returns to direction motion after being in a deep watery Pisces retrograde since last June. Of course, Neptune is at home in Pisces. In fact, that is his natural home. He’s comfy. He’s immersed in peace. Nevertheless, he’s not really been sleeping. He’s been dreaming new inspirations in vivid color. And as he wakes from his slow motion, he’ll be bringing in those new inspirations, dreams, healing, romance… so, pay attention today as he hints at what will be unfolding by spring.

Blessedly, Venus moves into new territory on Sunday, November 16th as she blissfully enters Sagittarius. She’s the first of the personal planets to begin dancing into buoyant Jupiter ruled Sagittarius this month. After mid-month, we can almost begin to feel a breeze in our hair and Sun in our Souls! Greater happiness, joy, spirituality and expansiveness will begin to unfold. Watch for doors of opportunity to begin opening as well after mid-month.

While the personal planets begin one by one moving into a more expansive place, unfortunately we’re not quite out of the woods of conflict yet. By the end of November, on the 27th, the Uranus-Pluto square becomes exact – again – and many things and events that began in April of this year when the same aspect was present may make a reappearance. So be ready for even more rapid change, upheaval and endings to make way for new beginnings, in our personal lives, and in the world.

And it’s always important to remember that the “energies” are there for us to use, proactively. Astrology and the message it brings of “prevailing energies,” doesn’t say, “Look! There’s a hole! You’re going to slip and fall into it.” It says, “Look! A hole! Walk around it!” It’s simply a weather report, a map, and/or a light bulb to better be able to see a deliciously juicy opportunity dancing toward you!

Weekend energy forecast for November 7th – 9th. Enjoy the calm before the storm!

Image2

Weekend astrological forecast, November 7th-9th …

Friday, Nov 7th, the Moon traveling through earthy Taurus is void most of the day. This is a great day to finish things up, rest, smell the roses, and nurture – ourselves and those we love. And also very good for preparing for the potential astrological storm that could begin as early as Monday next week. More about that in an earlier blog post. (See, “Deep Sensual Taurus Full Moon Intensified by Mars-Pluto-Uranus-Venus Connections”, below.)

The Moon doesn’t leave her void period until she moves into Gemini on Friday at 9:45 pm ET. Now things can get moving again. And pretty quickly, too, since the energy belongs to quicksilver Gemini. The atmosphere lightens and communication, messages and conversations (especially those flirtatious types!) bubble. However, people may talk bigger and faster than what they can deliver though. So take all information and promises with a big grain of salt and just enjoy the ride! This energy prevails until the Moon turns void again on Sunday, November 9th at 11:23 am ET as she forms a sextile aspect of opportunity, with buoyant Jupiter. Good feelings come easily on Sunday!

A teensy tiny caveat would be not to let those good feelings cause overspending or overindulging. Especially since a price will come due after the Moon enters tender Cancer very early Monday morning at 3:39am and we begin to approach the firestorm of Mars conjunct Pluto square Uranus. And the Moon will also square off with Neptune on Saturday. What you see may NOT be what you get!

Saturday, November 8th, Mercury will also re-enter Scorpio, and finally and completely leaves the “Mercury Retrograde Shadow” period on November 10th. And the retrograde is finally over. It’s been a brutal time for many, but we can at last begin moving ahead. I’d say hallelujah to that one. This transit will, however, hit and re-activate the October Solar Eclipse degree, so be alert to possible similar “eclipse related” events and circumstances repeating or playing out for these few days.

Then on Sunday, November 9th, Venus will square off with over-the-top Jupiter. Once again activating and reinforcing the ‘eyes bigger than the stomach’ syndrome. Generally pleasurable, but this aspect also can bring a lack of discipline and over-indulging, and over-doing just about anything! Especially in relationships, spending, desires and pleasure. A desire for maximum fulfillment may exceed resources. Remember, there won’t be any free lunches. A bill will come due! On the joyfully plus side, however, optimism is present in a very big way – as is a connection to faith and freedom. Creativity will also be off the charts as well!

Then get ready for the week ahead. Volatility, intensity and possible conflict on every front will be arriving beginning Monday, November 10th. At its best, however, these coming aspects bring transformation, no matter what or how. The “how” will be up to us. More information about this coming week is in a post below.

And I’ll be on the air Monday at 11am eastern for Intuitive Life Radio. Tune in to listen by phone, computer – or call in for a free reading!

Deep Sensual Taurus Full Moon Intensified by Mars-Pluto-Uranus-Venus Connections

Image2

Today, Thursday, November 6th, we welcome the potent Taurus Full Moon at 14 degrees of earthy Taurus and intensity will be the name of the game for the next couple of weeks. Traditionally called the “Frost” Moon, this Full Moon can sometimes give the appearance of a “freeze” or a stoppage or slowdown of activity – and may give the feel that things (or we!) are stalled. However, just know that nothing is stalled, things are simply happening out of our sight, below the deep waters.

And since all full moons bring the completion of events that began on the previous new moon, we’re looking at closures, culminations or endings. And this “Frost” Full Moon is no exception – especially since this is the companion Full Moon to the October 23rd Scorpio New Moon Eclipse, and is also closely connected with the powerful, potentially explosive, alignment of Mars, Pluto and Uranus coming up next week. Even if there’s a feeling of “stuckness,” never doubt that things are and will definitely be happening, and any endings or closures will be powerful, sudden and final.

Venus, the ruler of Taurus, also opposes the Full Moon so there may be even more intense urges to overindulge or overspend, in food, drink, money or love. Given the urgent or intense connection to those Mars/Pluto/Uranus energies, trying to respond with balance may be quite a challenge! The overriding message here is try not to fly off the handle or jump into something you’re unsure of. Let the deep waters of the Full Moon settle before deciding on just about anything.

Both this Taurus Full Moon and the previous October Scorpio New Moon Eclipse fall on the house axis concerning intensity, possessions and money – and all those things we value the most. So staying alert to the possibility that issues from that October Eclipse may appear again in some form would be a wise move.

Taurus loves lush beauty and sensuality, and also speaks to emotion and value, beauty and satisfaction. And with all the intensity that surrounds this Taurus Full Moon, slowing down, taking a pause, and caring for ourselves and nature – even in very small ways – will be the path that brings comfort and balance to what could be a powerful time over the next week or two.

So, the best way to navigate this Taurus Full Moon will be to make space for nature, make space for ourselves, our loved ones, and for our sensual selves. As much as possible, find comfort in the slow, small things. And to stop to smell the roses – find a way to be like sweet Ferdinand the Bull with that flower behind his ear :))

After all the intensity that’s been surrounding us lately, look for the energy to finally open up for us in joyful ways after mid-November… that’s not so very long!

More soon!

Blog is back! Just in time for Mars conjunct Pluto and square Uranus! Full Moon in Taurus this week too!

Image2

Basically, it was a brutal October – with two eclipses and a Scorpio retrograde Mercury. We may still feel like we’re reeling and recovering as we move into November.

Unfortunately, however, our fun doesn’t stop there. The week ahead has formidable tension building with Mars moving into conjunction with Pluto, as well as a volatile array of other aspects. These energies are now in effect and will carry through for the next two weeks.

Mars begins his approach to Pluto on November 4th. This conjunction becomes exact and begins separating on Monday, November 10th, though it remains in effect through November 18th. This is an explosive energy and brings with it equally explosive emotions and actions, often expressed as rage, violence, fighting, anger, war or accidents. And then, as soon as Mars moves out of exact contact with Pluto, he immediately moves into a square with unpredictable, disruptive Uranus, further fueling tension and extreme actions.

And if that’s not enough intensity, the Mars-Pluto conjunction also occurs at the same degree as the third Uranus-Pluto conjunction that took place last year on May 20, 2013 – and the Mars-Uranus square re-activates the degree of that Cardinal Grand Cross we all experienced in mid-April 21 of this year. The bottom line here is to be acutely aware and prepared for the possibility of experiencing emotions, situations or people, related to events that occurred at or around those significant dates.

The tension between these three impulsive and unpredictable players will be further increased when the Moon moves into Cancer early on November 10th and forms a disconcerting grand cross. This aspect will begin around November 6th and will reach maximum intensity between November 8th and the 15th.

Venus also gets into the act this week. First she squares Jupiter in Leo from November 7th to 9th. Think extreme ‘wants,’ obsessions and anything we shouldn’t want or have. This energy is raw, sometimes uncaring, and over the top. Even more so when added to the Mars-Pluto-Uranus aspects around us.

Then from November 10th to the 13th, Venus will conjunct Saturn in Scorpio. Think “reality arrives at your doorstep.” Consequences and results appear as a result of actions taken at the Venus-Jupiter square, and the Mars-Pluto eruption. Venus to Saturn brings the end result, or a clarification of what may have been overdone or overstated. On a positive note, the Venus-Saturn conjunction can also bring stability, awareness or clarification if you need it. There will be no doubt left of what you have or don’t have.

The week brings to us the energy of sudden release, upheaval, anger and even exploding structures. So, from now until after mid-November it might just be a good/wise time to ‘drop and cover.’ Don’t force confrontations or insist on that ‘air clearing conversation.’ Not unless you’re truly ready and you really, really want something to end. And, of course, sometimes that’s exactly what we do want or need. In that case, go for it. Whatever ‘it’ is won’t be around to bother you anymore. Probably ever. So think carefully before issuing any ultimatums. And so, if you’re hoping to have a meeting of the minds (or hearts), it would be a wise move to postpone that “meaningful discussion” until after next Monday, November 10th.

We also have November’s Full Moon in Taurus on November 6th, bringing the Moon’s own obsessive desires to the table. Indulgence and/or obsession will be the name of the game now. In one form or another. Tread carefully. There are no free lunches this month.

Finally, we can begin to relax in a colossal sigh of relief when Scorpio gives way to Sagittarius. On November 16th, the Scorpio energy that we’ve been wading through (or swimming under) gives way to a lighter and more upbeat and optimistic experience, as one by one the personal planets start to move into Sagittarius – first Venus on November 16th, followed by the Sun and Moon at the Sagittarius New Moon on November 22nd, and Mercury on the 27th. Sagittarius will be dancing us away from any darkness we may have had to encounter or endure, swirling us around to a more carefree approach to life. Sagittarius is ruled by expansive Jupiter and tells us that the sky is the limit! And the Sagittarius New Moon inspires us to touch our spirituality and faith. So, just in time for Thanksgiving, the energy shifts around us and turns from overcast and ominous to joyful!

Intuitive Life Astrology Forecast for the Week of June 16th ~ Mercury backs into Gemini, a Volatile Mars-Uranus-Pluto T-square Peaks, and the Bright Summer Solstice Arrives

 Image2

This week, a stimulating, if potentially volatile, Mars-Uranus-Pluto T-square peaks.  This forceful grouping of Mars, Uranus and Pluto reignites the lingering energies of mid-April’s Clash-of-the-Titans-Grand-Cardinal-Cross.  The week ahead also brings us the Wounded Healer Chiron move to retrograde motion, and last but not least, the Summer Solstice, when the Sun enters nurturing Cancer…

On Tuesday, June 17th, retrograde Mercury swims out of the emotional waters of Cancer and back into the crisp analytical air of Gemini, one of Mercury’s “home” signs.  This will likely alleviate some of the weepy or overemotional reactions some have been experiencing while Mercury has been treading the emotional waters of Cancer.  His move into Gemini will also make unfinished communications and information more accessible.  Just remember to keep double-checking facts that may arrive and remain flexible since Mercury doesn’t return to direct motion until July 1st !

And on June 19th, all of those bits of information we’ve just received can come together quickly when the Sun and Mercury connect in Gemini.  We can finally feel like things are beginning to fall into place and some sort of clarity can finally reach home base.  However, once again, we will also want to hold off making any big changes or taking action on any of our new Big Bold Bright Ideas until after Mercury turns direct on July 1st!

Another bright spot this week takes place on Wednesday, June 18th, when Venus dances sweetly with Jupiter. Relationships, creativity, sensuality, abundance and financial blossoming are delivered to us in an almost natural benevolence.  Look for kindness and generosity in encounters with others, expanded creativity and artistic flair, along with your juicy delight of choice!

And, if we can, we’ll want to wallow in that juicy delight for as long as possible – because on Thursday, June 19th, we re-encounter the jangling energy of the Mars-Uranus-Pluto T-square that originally began on April 4.  Using extra caution and sidestepping avoidable conflict can soften this energy.  While stability in general may feel elusive, on the positive side, know that major breakthroughs and unbridled leaps forward can also be the result of this extreme energy dance if you’ve done your work and you’re ready for Your Big Changes.

And then on Friday, June 20th, Chiron begins his five-month retrograde till November 23rd.  The degrees from 18° to 13° Pisces will be offering the deepest healing opportunities, which may include recognizing or experiencing a wound ready to be released and healed.  Those degrees in any of the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius will also be strongly affected by Chiron’s healing embrace.

Finally, a new season of life begins on Saturday, June 21st as the Sun enters the succulent sign of Cancer, and when the light, life and celebration of birth arrive with the Summer Solstice. I think we can collectively breathe of sigh of relief and be grateful that Spring 2014, which included both Saturn and Mars being retrograde, achingly difficult eclipses, as well as being overwhelmed by the energy of the life-changing (and challenging!) Grand Cardinal Cross. Fortunately, Summer brings a promise of fulfillment, abundance and joy to our doorsteps.  And I think we can all use a good dose of that!  So I would say that Saturday could be THE perfect time to give Spring 2014 a loving little grateful pat on it’s behind and open our arms wide to the new Season and Re-birth of the Light…

More soon,
Take good care and be happy,
Much love,
Skye

Intuitive Life Astrology Forecast for the Week of June 9th ~ Full Moon in Sagittarius and More Big Energies…

Image2

This week we can look forward to a Sagittarian Full Moon, Neptune turning retrograde, Mercury already retrograde in Cancer, plus we have a volatile Mars-Pluto square…

As we begin the month of June, Mercury is in apparent backward motion, moving through Cancer and reaching out to the past. He went retrograde at 3 degrees of Cancer on Saturday, June 7, and basically will be sitting still in the sky from June 7 to June 9. The days when he sits stationary are often the most likely times things can go haywire. And right now, as he sits in the emotional sign of Cancer, our thinking and conversation (Mercury) will likely become more emotional, as well as remembering the past. Then on June 17, Mercury backs into his own sign of Gemini where he will spend the rest of June – and the rest of this retrograde period. With Mercury retrograde in his own sign of Gemini, travel and communication could begin to move quickly but erratically. During that time, we will want to be sure that before speaking we fully engage our brains before letting words flow from our lips. It would also be a good idea to be careful before hitting “send” on our computer, smartphone or twitter. Sending the wrong message to the wrong person is a possibility! As is drunk texting!  Ack!

Mercury retrograde typically lasts for about three weeks and it’s just part of the natural cycle of life. And while things can break and not go as we had planned during these three weeks getting worried or upset about it won’t change anything, and likely will just add to the confusion. Being aware of potential scrambled energy is more than half the battle. The rest of it is just staying flexible and alert.

Also, we often reconnect with those from our past – especially with Mercury being retrograde in Cancer this time. Plus, some relationships may and others break apart. Mercury retrograde in Cancer can have a quality of fate to it. And if a relationship or a situation ends during this period, basically it’s supposed to. Do know that any endings are often final. The key is awareness and flexibility.

You can also read my previous post from today June 8 that covers keys to surviving a Mercury retrograde.

Then Monday, June 9 at 9:16am pacific, Neptune sits stationary retrograde at 7°35′ Pisces. Natal points between 4 and 11 degrees in the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces will be most strongly affected. Depending on the aspects made, these months, from now through November 15, 2014 when he returns to direct motion, can find us turning inward and reaching new spiritual levels. If, however, challenging aspects are being made to your natal chart, there could also be deception or delusion (self or otherwise), illusion, and/or confusion in the areas of life specifically triggered by his aspects.

June’s Full Moon occurs on June 13, at 9:12pm pacific at 22 Sagittarius.

Sagittarius is the natural ruler of the Ninth house of the higher mind, expanding worlds, travel, education, legal and medical matters and our views and greater vision. And while the Sagittarius Full Moon can bring happiness, joy, liveliness and fun, this time the Moon will be in the midst of very challenging aspects

Venus will be opposing Saturn which can represent roadblocks in emotions or relationships. And at the same time Mars will be within throwing distance of squaring Pluto. These are difficult, angry, challenging and/or volatile aspects for this Full Moon – and us – to deal with. Relationships in trouble may not survive because this energy can bring hurt feelings. Also, there could be many types of endings, not just in personal relationships. However, if relationships and partnerships have essential strength, they will survive, albeit maybe a little battered and bruised. So basically, it would be advisable to pay attention and be alert for potential power struggles, and just to the side for the time being.

So, I would look for this to be one smashing pumpkin of a Full Moon!

But Saturday, June 14th, is really the day to be ready to duck and cover.
The Libra Mars squares Capricorn Pluto and bring us those potentially volatile energies that will be reigniting the revolutionary transformational energy that peaked in mid April with the Cardinal Grand Cross. Mars will once again be triggering that Cardinal grand cross energy pretty constantly over the next few weeks. And events or situations that were not completely resolved that began in mid-April may come back to haunt, especially with Mercury retrograding and emotional Cancer and then in fast moving Gemini.

The successful way to navigate through the mixed energy of the upcoming week is to stay calm, avoid unnecessarily treacherous, questionable or dangerous situations and/or people. Don’t bang your head into a wall that isn’t going to move, and/or avoid confrontations as much as possible. On the plus side, this powerful energy can also catapult us to incredible productive action and fearless and positive assertiveness. Relationships that are ready to move forward can also be transformed in powerful ways.

The bottom line is that this is definitely not the greatest couple of days to schedule important meetings or discussions. If something or someone needs to be dealt with, try to wait a few days because bridges burned now may not be able to be rebuilt.

More soon,
Take good care and be happy,
Much love,
Skye

A Quick Survival Guide for any Mercury Retrograde And our next Mercury Retrograde is now…June 7-July 1, 2014

Image2

Lots of us are already aware of what to do (or more likely what “not” to do) during a Mercury Retrograde, but here’s another quick summary of the General Rules of Mercury Retrograde Thumb :)

• Double-check any information received, especially any travel (Mercury) arrangements!

• Back up all computer data as soon as possible. Computer crashes, cable outages, electronic devices, including smartphones, often arise during a Mercury Retrograde. Also, automobile issues, breakdowns and/or repairs are common during Mercury Retrograde since Mercury also has reign over all moving parts.

• If you don’t have to, it’s best not to purchase any big ticket items. They will often have issues or flaws not obvious at purchase. But if you absolutely, positively must purchase that computer, car or smartphone, just double and triple check all the paperwork. It’s also a good idea to get a warranty with any purchases over the Mercury period. And also be prepared for delays with any big transactions.

• Read and re-read all small print on all contracts that you consider signing. Don’t be shy about asking questions if you don’t understand something. Get as much information as possible prior to finalizing a deal.

• Finish or work on projects you’ve already begun. It’s also a great time for doing research on new projects, as well as cleaning out hidden or neglected spaces, like closets, drawers and garages. Besides, you never know what forgotten treasure you might find from the past (Mercury traveling backward and all) that regains a new life. Even “completing” or “finishing” an old relationship that’s been hanging on past its time would be healthy.

• Essentially it’s an excellent time for tying up any and all loose ends to better prepare for the fresh start that’s waiting in the wings after Mercury moves forward again.

• It’s also important to take things with a grain (or few) of salt. As much as possible recognize that the energy will be moving in a direct line again in about three weeks so just try to relax and stay flexible with scheduling and planning. Know that some confusion will likely be in the air and all energy belongs to the Trickster for a few weeks.

• Also, try not to take things too personally when people say amazingly arrogant, obnoxious, insensitive, offensive or unexpected things. Sometimes they really are just what they seem to be (ask me, I’ve dealt with one or two lately), but usually they mean no harm and their own thinking is just stuck on ‘pause.’ If you’re sure they’re really trueblue and not simply appallingly arrogant, do give them the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise, this is the perfect time to just cut the cord. Mercury retrograde actually presents an opportunity to dump any or all of the aforementioned insulting energies. And once again, do know that communication with the “trueblues” will improve after Mercury goes direct. Taking time to put our own brains in gear before engaging our mouths will also be to our benefit!

• Finally, remember to take a break (just like Mercury’s doing!). Re-connect with old friends, see the humor in life (it really is always there someplace), laugh and reminisce! And remember that Mercury retrograde often brings old friends or lovers back into our lives seemingly out of the blue, and/or you may have the urge to finally reach out to someone who has been on your mind from the past.

• Most importantly, allow Mercury to take you in a new or extraordinary direction. If you feel compelled for some reason to “take another road,” there’s usually a very good reason for it.

• And, this would be THE time to re-view, re-examine, allow, accept and then move on when Mercury moves forward again to be dazzling and new!

And above all, don’t leave your sense of humor behind and DO remember to use it! :) Remember, this is simply a recurring transit (Mercury retrograde happens three or four times a year for three or four weeks at a time), and it will be gone (again) before we know it!

I’ll be adding another post later today covering this particular Mercury retrograde, as well as the Sagittarius Full Moon coming on Thursday!

Much love,

Skye
